I have been working on a variety of projects both as a consultant and as a Main Street director. This is a quick peek at some of what has been brewing on my desktop.
- Each month I host an Open Meeting for entreprenuers in my town. This month we had 30 attend - up 30% from the last several months. It is part pep rally, part networking, part community involvement, and part business education. Just lasts an hour, but it is a great time to get connected and reenergized.
- Electric Vision/The Creative Energy Project is a public, private, nonprofit, artist collaboration that included 3 events that I coordinated where people created light art that was captured by the artist and other photographers and on May 1st we will unviel all of the peices created at a public reception.
- Cocktails for a Cause meets the Third Thursday of every month in our town and is a new project that I developed to both raise money for our Main Street, but also raise money and awareness for a different nonprofit each month. We have had two so far and they have been extremely successful.
- I have been coaching a client on the finer points of Facebook. This is the fun new page we created and we are growing at a rapid rate.
So many more projects are happening, but a quick overview of some of them is fun! I have a lot going on, but the fun never stops!
