I am so excited for My Sparkly Girl! She is taking violin lessons at the Berryville Community Center with a teacher who was formerly a band director in Alaska. She is in the adult class and she is loving it. They are starting out at the very beginning which is fine because she hasn't played since elementary school. Anyway, the teacher called last night and said that she has potential to be really good. She has the posture, the ear, and the ability. This is something we always knew about her, but it is really nice to have it validated by someone else. SO, I think she plans to finish the class with the adults and then take private lessons in the new year.
We are also blessed to have The Pot Family in our life because Momma Pot bought My Sparkly Girl and Her Boy Wonder the cutest Halloween costumes. They are planning on being Bonnie & Clyde after the big Shoot Out... so basically, dead Bonnie & Clyde. She got them vintage suits, a great beret, and fake bullet holes. It is all so great. They are going to be volunteering at the library for the Monster Bash for the little kids... they will just look amazing. Photos after the big day!
And lastly, we are indulging in one of our favorite things The Gilmore Girls. We just received the first disc of the 6th season. Yummy.
