I love the color pink. When I was younger I thought it was too Barbie, but now I realize that it is a color especially made for women. It is strong and delicate at the same time. I reclaimed pink just as my daughter was hating all things pink, around the age of 9. Now at 36 and 15 we both love pink! It is great to be a girl!
Yoko Ono. A woman who many despise or don't understand. I LOVE her. I was privileged to have the opportunity to see her at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art several years ago and it was such a delight to behold this powerful woman of artistic vision. She was and is a woman beyond her time. Although controversial, I love her. I also love the absolute love that she shared with John. They were so right together and I am still sad for her loss.
Coffee is truly a food of the gods. I like it black, creamy, sweet, bitter, dark, instant, in the morning, late at night, and every moment in between. I have, at times, given it up because I realize that it is my addiction only to return happily to holding my cup in sheer reverence. My Sparkly Girl and her friends TOTALLY make fun of the way I hold my cup of coffee. They just don't understand the love I have for this dark bitter brew. I don't remember when I started really drinking coffee. I assume it was when I was a late teenager and we were sitting in Bob's Big Boy until all hours of the night talking about our dreams.
