This wild Celtic band is playing tomorrow at The Auditorium. They have requested a disco ball. I KNOW they play In A Gadda Davida by Iron Butterfly... on the bagpipes and the lead singer signs autographs only with a Sharpie on body parts! Should be a hoot.
In other news: I am working on Valentine's gifts, getting a package together for my Year Long Swap Partner, and thinking about putting a book proposal together for publishers. It is a busy wonderful time with limited amounts of stress to ruin the mood.
Yesterday we hosted a group of My Sparkly Girl's friends for the afternoon into the evening. They were so funny playing Twister and building a campfire to roast hot dogs. So much for the vegetarian diet for 2006! They are all so cute together. Each one of them is looking to their bright futures. It makes me weepy to think they will all be going to college in 2 and a half years. Sigh.
