Jacqueline Wolven | Do Good Work
Small Business/Small Town Marketing Strategist
After 9/11 I left a successful career in San Francisco as the director of marketing to build my own, personalized, studio dedicated to helping small business. What I left behind were pointless meetings, red tape, and budgets that were astronomical. What I gained was a sense of living my life on my own terms, the ability to help clients have real success, and the joy of saying yes or no when I needed to. If you are ready to experience magnificent marketing and public relations for your small business I am here to make it happen.
Marketing is about telling your story using tools that reach the largest audience possible. I help small businesses and small towns find the right opportunities, learn the tools, and build their brand. I consistently provide marketing consultation to small towns and small business in a down to earth, common sense manner - you get to make the connections and have real "Ah Ha" moments where it all starts to make sense.
As a Main Street director and consultant I understand the pain points and the passion behind your small town or downtown district. Through innovative programming, on the ground experience and the ability to see where the future lies I can help your small town achieve great things. I can get you from no to yes.
Branding and design are my love language. As a graphic designer, by degree, I see the world through the visual and written story you tell and I am here to make that story better. I have worked with major corporations, institutions, organizations and small businesses to craft their brand including; IAMS, Golden Gate University, Sirius Radio, Main Street Arkansas, Eureka Springs Downtown Network, Eureka Springs School of the Arts and more.
Social Media is a tool that you use to share your story, build relationships, and better your world. I manage, teach and consult with clients nationwide into using the tools like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Pinterest better. I am a Pinterest PR resource for small businesses and small towns - pitch me a story and let's make it go wide!
I have been blogging since 2006! I work with individuals, companies, organizations and small towns to use this powerful tool to broadcast the good news about their company. Smart strategies to take you from so-so to oh wow! My workshops are in demand and the tools get used immediately!
My keyboard communicates your culture, dreams, and development in hard copy, online and through your voice. Seasoned at press releases, pitches, and marketing copy you are able to unleash your product into the world. My words can be found on tinybuddha.com and I was featured in Real Simple. I'm currently working on a book for small businesses and small town managers.
Living simply, boosting the quality of your life, adding meditation to your work/life, connecting encouragement and gratitude partners - I coach you to more of what you want out of life and work. I have developed a way of working called Solution Oriented Community/Company Organizing that explores how to work effectively, communicate well, and accomplish results without getting bogged down. It is a no holds barred way of cutting through the red tape of regular working situations and focusing completely on solutions. If your team is ready to try getting stuff done instead of talking about getting it done - SOCO is a whole new way of working.
Teaching is in my bones. My goal is to communicate smart marketing, big ideas, and motivation in a way that audiences can hear it. I teach workshops nationwide, train small groups, and keynote events. Read more about my speaking opportunities here.
